Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ProfitLab-AI, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), publisher of the book The Future Is AI Search by David Esau, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website or place a pre-order. By using this site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you request the free chapters, we collect your first name and email address. When you pre-order the book, our payment processor collects your name, email, shipping address, and payment details (we never see or store full card numbers). If you contact us, we collect whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard log and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and the pages you view. We also store small amounts of data in your browser (for example, to remember that you have already downloaded the free chapters or dismissed a pop-up).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the free chapters and fulfill and ship your pre-order.
- To send order confirmations and respond to your inquiries.
- With your consent, to send occasional updates about the book. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and understand how it is used.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and spam.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage, and we store small values in your browser’s local storage to remember your interactions (such as the free-chapter download). We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from automated abuse; your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and fulfill orders, and only as needed to perform those services:
- Stripe — payment processing for pre-orders.
- GoHighLevel — email delivery and customer relationship management.
- Google reCAPTCHA — form spam protection.
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-respecting analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Payments
Pre-order payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are submitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s own privacy and security terms; we do not receive or retain full card numbers.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the services described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
9. Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
Our site links to third-party sites (for example, retailer pages for the author’s first book). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
